Privacy Policy

How Startup Ideabase handles information when you visit our multi-page idea catalog. This policy is written for clarity; it is not legal advice.

Last updated: August 5, 2026

1. Overview

Startup Ideabase (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates a website that publishes structured startup ideas, research notes, industry hubs, and related tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the site, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. For product questions, see Contact Us.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide. If you contact us (for example via the contact form or email), we receive the details you submit — such as name, email address, and message content.

Automatic technical data. Like most websites, servers and hosting providers may log IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps for security, reliability, and basic analytics.

Account / tokens (future). Features such as login, free-token wallets, resume upload, and paid Pro tools are coming soon. When they launch, we will update this policy to describe any new data categories before they go live.

3. How we use information

  • Operate, secure, and improve the website
  • Respond to contact requests and support questions
  • Understand aggregate traffic patterns (analytics)
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms
  • When advertising is enabled, deliver and measure ads (see Advertising section)

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for essential site function, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect site behavior.

5. Advertising

Ad layout slots exist on some pages. Third-party advertising (for example Google AdSense) is not active until we configure a publisher ID. When ads go live, third parties may use cookies or similar tech to personalize or measure ads according to their own policies. See our advertising status page.

6. Third-party services

We may use hosting, CDN, analytics, email, or (in the future) payment providers. Those processors only receive data needed to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy terms. External links on idea source lists lead to third-party sites we do not control.

7. Retention

Contact messages are kept as long as needed to respond and maintain records. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operations, unless a longer period is required by law.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise a request, contact us via the Contact Us page. We may need to verify your request.

9. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. International visitors

The site may be hosted or accessed from different countries. By using the site, you understand that information may be processed in locations with different data-protection laws than your own.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.

12. Contact
